This description is for Allamuchy and Allamuchy North. They are easy to do together but could be done separately.

Park at the parking area on Stuyvesant Road off County Route 517 in Allamuchy, NJ. It is easiest to find Tranquility Farm Road which turns left at the end and sort of dead ends at the trail. Follow the trail up until, in about .9 miles, it meets another trail. Turn right and continue for about .55 miles where the woods road continues straight ahead but the trail turns right and up the mountain. The trail never gets very steep and you will pass by some rocky cliffs. After about .4 miles the trail levels. You will have to step off the trail to the right to find the highest point. Return to your car the same way or continue on to Allamuchy North. The trails are wide open and easy to follow for the most part but not always well marked.
